I didn't pay attention in class. Thoughts were darting through my head and couldn't stop myself. Well, that was until Mrs. Mia smacked my hand with a ruler. I yelped. "Pay attention miss Crepsley." She said and went on with the lesson. I stuck out my tongue. When school was finally over I started walking home. I prayed to the vampire gods to help me. At least I know they were listening. When I passed an alley someone grabbed my arm and pulled me in, but before they could do anything I grabbed their other arm and swung them against the wall. I was about to punch whoever it was. "Joey, Joey, wait it's me!"
